What can I do?
You are required to complete 40 hours of community involvement. Why not take this opportunity to get involved in your community in a way that is meaningful to you. I encourage you to connect with an organization that you are not only passionate about but that pushes you into new and challenging situations. Here's a checklist to follow:
1. Make a list of your interests and passions. Here are some communities and organizations that may need your help:
3. Read over the requirements set out by the TDSB before committing to a certain placement.
4. Contact your organization AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
5. Follow the necessary steps required by your organization AND the TDSB.
6. Make sure to check back regularly on the requirements for your community hours.
